Using the P with an Endotracheal Tube in Supine Position

Description The endotracheal tube was inserted into the patient in the supine position. Because the P positions the neck to keep the airway (larynx) more open, intubation is made easier, and there is lesser chance of pressure injury to vocal cords and trachea from the tube.
